Bertrand de Solere has started his Brazilian life and the Brazilian law practice in 1998 as an associate of the firm Escritório de Advocacia Gouvêa Vieira in Rio de Janeiro. He has been legal adviser of foreign investors, big multinationals, such as PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, TOTAL, LEROY MERLIN, GL EVENTS, SBM, L’OREAL, CLUB MEDITERRANÉE, as well as of small individual foreign investors in different kinds of operations.
The expertise of Bertrand de Solere includes any kind of issues faced by the foreign investors in Brazil: corporate law and M&A, taxation, labor law and residence visa, civil law, real estate, compliance (anticorruption and GDPR/LGPD). Bertrand de Solere is also certified Data Protection Officer-DPO by the French personal data authority (CNIL).
Due to his knowledge of Brazil, Bertrand de Solere has been appointed French Foreign Trade Adviser – CCEF by the French Government in 2012.
