ABOUT
BERTRAND DE SOLERE is a French-Brazilian attorney and a partner at the law firm Ciari Moreira Advogados, with over 25 years of experience in advising foreign investors in Brazil and Brazilian investors in Europe. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnership negotiations, international business structuring, international taxation, and the regularization of foreign workforces.
He advises transnational corporations on compliance with anti-corruption laws and data protection regulations, with a strong command of both Brazilian and European standards (he is certified as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) by the French data protection authority, the CNIL).
He has been a member of the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo Bars since 2002 and has been registered with the New York State Supreme Court (USA) since 2016. He has served as a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France – CCE) since 2012 and is currently the General Secretary of the Brazil Committee.
Bertrand is also a certified mediator by the Paris Mediation and Arbitration Center (CMAP), and is qualified to mediate business disputes and facilitate negotiations.

In order to fulfill the missions of the French Foreign Trade Councilors – CCEF, by Bertrand de Solere, the office works together with the authorities of the French Republic in Brazil to attract and advise French entrepreneurs and investors in Brazil. In addition to this French specificity, Solere has a strong presence in favor of US entrepreneurs and investors, with whom it is close through its New York office.
